About this focused free tool

Time arithmetic,
made easier to check.

Shiftledger turns seven entered daily blocks into exact net minutes, hours-and-minutes totals and decimal hours. One calculator lives on this site, with a method guide you can read alongside it.

What the tool does

It subtracts unpaid break minutes from a clock-based or manually entered elapsed duration, sums a week, and optionally multiplies exact net minutes by your entered hourly amount. Clock-based overnight ends require an explicit next-day selection. Positioned clock ranges are checked for overlap. Local text and CSV exports keep the assumptions with the result.

What the result means

The result represents your entered arithmetic. It does not determine pay owed, applicable rates, overtime, tax, superannuation, employment entitlements or payroll compliance. It has no dates, time-zone or daylight-saving rules. Manual elapsed durations can be entered from other records, but their correctness and overlap are not verified. Each start-day has one block, limited to 24 elapsed hours as a computational boundary.

Free to use, with no account

The calculator runs locally and does not require registration, a purchase or contacting the owner. This release has no active advertising, consent-management or analytics scripts. Publisher and search-verification metadata and an ads.txt record prepare for later exact-host setup; they do not mean ads are approved or revenue is being earned. The privacy information will need to change if external services are enabled.

A small shared portfolio

Shiftledger belongs to the same independently operated free-tool portfolio as Yardfill. Its contact address reuses an existing shared public forwarding alias, clearly identified on the contact page. There is no separate Shiftledger mailbox. See the worked method guide for calculations and privacy page for data handling.
